On August 3, a producer of a ceramic factory in Guangdong introduced that the current LNG price in other production areas of Zhaoqing is about 7400-7500 yuan / ton, which is about 5.2 yuan / m3 according to the gasification rate.
LNG price in Guangdong production area rose again after falling
According to relevant data, compared with the beginning of July, the LNG natural gas price of Guangdong ceramic factory in August increased by a few cents to 1 yuan per cubic meter. Previously, in June and July, the LNG natural gas price in Guangdong ceramic production area fell to more than 4 yuan / m3, and even fell to less than 4 yuan / m3 in some production areas.
This year, the price of LNG natural gas in Guangdong production area has been at a historical high. During the peak period, the price of LNG natural gas in many production areas rose to more than 7 yuan / m3. By early July, the LNG price of Guangdong ceramic factory was over 7000 yuan / ton, that is, the converted gas price was about 5 yuan / m3. "Before and after June 20, when the LNG price in Guangdong reached the lowest level in the ceramic factory, it was about 6500 yuan / ton, and the converted gas price was about 4.64 yuan / m3."
According to the analysis, although the kiln opening rate in Guangdong ceramic production area is not high at this stage, the demand for natural gas for power generation in summer increases, which promotes the price of LNG and natural gas to rise slowly again.

According to the "gas online" data, on August 4, the listed prices of Shenzhen Dapeng, Dongguan Jiufeng, Guangxi Beihai and Zhuhai Jinwan LNG coastal terminals were 7950 yuan / ton, 7950 yuan / ton, 7500 yuan / ton and 7850 yuan / ton respectively. Compared with the beginning of July, it increased by 700 yuan / ton, 700 yuan / ton, 200 yuan / ton and 800 yuan / ton respectively.
Compared with the beginning of July, the listing price of LNG LNG coastal terminal in August increased by about 2.7% - 11.3%. A person in charge of the business of the gas company recalled that in mid July, the price of Guangdong LNG to the ceramic factory was about 7100 yuan / ton, which was converted to 5.07 yuan / m3. Now, take the Deqing production area of Zhaoqing as an example, it has risen to 5.5 yuan / m3.
For ceramic brick production, the fluctuation of energy prices such as natural gas has a great impact on the production cost and profit level of ceramic enterprises. Generally speaking, the fuel cost accounts for about 20% - 30% of the total cost of ceramic tile production, so ceramic enterprises are sensitive to the fluctuation of natural gas price.
It is worth noting that according to the contents of the prospectus released by xinmingzhu group on August 2, the natural gas procurement cost in 2019 was 2.89 yuan / m3, 2.14 yuan / m3 in 20, 3.16 yuan / m3 in 21, and 4.97 yuan / m3 from January to march in 22. It is pointed out in the prospectus that the energy price in 2021 will rise by a large margin, resulting in a decrease of about 5% in the gross profit rate of the enterprise in that year.
It can be seen that in the ceramic production area of Guangdong, the price of natural gas has increased greatly in the past two years. Especially this year, the price of natural gas has increased significantly compared with previous years, which has become an important factor affecting the general reduction of the profit level of ceramic factories.
